With great sadness, the presidium of the Wiener MusikSeminar announces that our loyal friend and vice-president KommR Dr. Heinrich Wiesflecker passed away on 30th April 2020 after a short serious illness.

KR Rudolf Kallat Awarded Honorary Title of Professor
Our president KR Rudolf Kallat was awarded the honorary title of Professor in an official ceremony on 3rd July 2019 in the Bankettsaal of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. The presidium and executive committee are proud of our longstanding president and would like to congratulate - KR Professor Rudolf Kallat.

Prof. Schmid's Concert at the Vienna State Opera
We congratulate Prof. Kurt Schmid, vice-president and art director of Wiener MusikSeminar, on his concert on 15th July 2018 at the Vienna State Opera. In cooperation with the Japan-Austrian Festival Choir, the Vienna Hofburg Orchestra and the soloists Manami Okazaki (soprano), Zoryana Kushlpler (mezzo-soprano), Herbert Lippert (tenor) and Clemens Unterreiner (baritone) he provided a successful concert evening with Beethoven's 9th Symphony (and other Japanese pieces).
