Agnes Glaßner

2004-2009 training in Vienna at the music high school, during which time she studied a preparatory course for oboe at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Further instrumental studies oboe and study of instrumental pedagogy with o.Univ.-Prof. Klaus Lienbacher and Univ.-Prof. Harald Hoerth. 2016-2020 in-depth study of "Historical Oboe Instruments" at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna with Univ.-Prof. Andreas Helm. All studies completed with distinction.
Numerous orchestral and substitute activities in the Wiener KammerOrchester, Wiener Concert-Verein, the Tonkünstler-Orchester Niederösterreich, the Wiener Symphoniker, the ORF Radio-Symphonieorchester (RSO) Wien, the Wiener Philharmoniker, the Wiener Staatsoper and the Volksoper Wien. Fixed-term contracts with the Wiener Symphoniker, the Wiener Staatsoper stage orchestra, the Tonkünstler-Orchester Niederösterreich and the Volksoper Wien, among others. Several years of participation in the Bregenz and Salzburg Festivals. Numerous orchestra tours within Europe, to America and Asia. Active concert activities in orchestras with a focus on historical performance practice.
From 2016-2021 teaching at the music school in Staatz, since 2020 teaching at the music school in Wolkersdorf and since 2021 at the Franz-Schmidt music school in Perchtoldsdorf.
