Eun-Ryung Chang

Cellist Eun-ryung Chang was born in Seoul. She studied under Prof. Marcus Nikos at the Universität der Künste Berlin. Then she studied concert exams with Prof. Joseph Schwab at the Hochschule für Musik in Berlin, “Hans Eisler”. At the Franz-Liszt Hochschule für Musik Weimar, Prof. Brunhard Böhme studied concert exams and directed the student as an assistant. She was invited to perform with the Berlin Philharmonic, the Berlin Concert Hall and the Berlin Presidential Palace. She was invited to the 160 cellists of the world under Mstislav Rostropovich to perform the 10th anniversary of the German reading. She has given numerous solo Recital in Berlin, Seoul, Los Angeles, Harikov Music Festival, Moscow, Weimar, Lübeck and other countries. She was invited as a soloist and gave numerous concerts with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, the Moscow National Symphony Orchestra, the Kharkov Festival and the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra ets. She has been a professor at Soongsil University since 2004, and discovered and taught talented students from Yewon School and Seoul Arts High School.
