Michael Hrubý

Completed his studies in piano as a student of Walter Panhofer with the Concert Diploma of the Vienna Music Academy. Numerous concert performances as soloist, accompanist and chamber musician at reputable international festivals in Austria, all over Europe, South America (Venezuela) and Asia (Taiwan, Japan), where he regularly gives master classes too. His extensive pianistic repertoire focuses particularly on the music  of „Wiener Klassik“. He is also an accomplished and many-sided Jazz musician and founder of the » Michael Hrubý Trio « .CD recordings and TV productions. Since 1992 he holds a professorship for Piano at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. He is a member of the "Japanese Summer Seminar in Vienna".
