Josef Luitz

Born in Vienna, Solocellist of the Noe. Tonkünstlerorchestra. Cello studies with Professor Walther Kleinecke (Wiener Philharmoniker) and Professor Nikolaus Hübner, conservatoire of the city Vienna, master course with Radu Aldulescu in Spain. Since 1972 professor at the conservatoire of the city Vienna. Since over 25 years courses for violoncello, with the Wiener Musikseminar, Allegro Vivo, NÖ. Musikschulwerk, with the Mittsommernachtsfestival in Umeå (Sweden) and seminar activities in Japan. Numerous solo- and chamber-musical concerts, broadcast- and CD-recordings and concerttours in the countries of Europe, to Russia, South America, Asia complete the musical activities. Emphasis of the course is: "perfect the musical interpretation in conformity with body consciousness to bring, as well as clay/tone quality, clay/tone volume and Intonation by organic courses of motion.
