Il-se Lee
Born in Pusan (Korea). Studied at the Music University of Vienna with Prof. Angelica May. From 2009 to 2011 Il-se Lee was teaching as a guest professor at the Kyung-Hee University and is solo cellist of the “Euroasian Philharmonic Orchestra” in Seoul. Professor of violoncello at Prayner Conservatory and Vienna Conservatory.
Since 2012 he is also a member of the directorate at the Gustav Mahler Conservatory in Vienna and violoncello professor. Masterclasses with Julius Berger, Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi, and Youngchang Cho. Prize-winner of several competitions such as “Cita di Barletta”, “Hyperion” in Rome. Since 2014 solocellist of Busan Philharmonic Orchestra.
